Description

Description

The 6×8 trailer is one size wider than the popular 5×8, so it will carry more.  While maintaining similar options and the same strength, the 6×8 is great for stability.  See images on this page and on the trailers category page for some of the many options.  Check the accordions below for even more information.  We always recommend you customize the trailer with options that fit your specific needs.

Construction is rectangular steel tube main beams with C-Channel front and back.  This makes the 6×8 trailer very strong for whatever you need.  It is perfectly strong as a flatbed.  While sides are not needed for strength, if you want them for functionality, there are options in the plans for sides.

Other options include the deck style (plywood or dimensional lumber), a tailgate (or not), a tongue mounted toolbox, ramps, and more.  Build it the way you want it.

If you want full engineering and a long history of durability, then this is a good choice for a great utility trailer.

We have alternate sizes — like 6×10 or 6×12 — if that will work better.

For a Torsion Axle, we have a conversion for that too.
