Description

With a 20′ deck, this design for a 10000 lbs flat deck trailer is ready for building.  (10,400 lbs to be more exact).  These blueprints have all the options and features of our Endurance Duty family of Deck-Over Trailer Plans.  The frame is structural steel, then you choose the rest.  Choose options like various sides, ramps, hitch style, deck style, and much more.  Even the options have options — like choices for ramp length and strength.  Build it the way you want it.  This trailer is tough by design because that’s what you’ll expect.

Tandem Axle, 10000 lbs Flat Deck Trailer Plans

There’s not much to substitute when you need a broad Flat Deck trailer.  This trailer spans the full legal limit of 8′ 6″ wide and includes a 20′ long deck.  Tandem Axles give 10,400 lbs capacity making this Deck-Over trailer perfect for many.

Since you want strength and options, that’s what these blueprints deliver.  For instance, our research shows many owners wish their ramps were a little longer or a little stronger — so we give you both.  And, the info to choose with a chart showing capacity by length so you can find your own sweet spot.  Again, it’s just one example of how these plans help you make the right trailer for you.

Giving you choices to build the way you want it is the Mechanical Elements way.  Designing for tough action, is all included, right down to the thickness of the rub rails for robust action.  The same is true throughout the trailer.  Since it’s from Mechanical Elements, these are things to expect.

10000 lbs Flat Deck Trailer Plans Options
Some of the options.  Plank deck, 8.5′ Ramps, Perimeter Rub Rails and Stake Pockets, Front Stop Rail, Tongue Tray Storage (hard to see), Pivoting Tongue Jack, Adjustable Hitch, etc.  And that’s not all.  (16′ trailer shown.)
