Trailer Plans:  6 ft. 10 in. Frame Width

Many of our trailer plans include this specific size – 6ft-10in, or 82 inches frame width.  It is the Legal Max Width we can make for trailers with the frame between the wheels.  (Wider is available when the frame is over the wheels – which we call Deck-Over trailers, or when the frame goes around the wheels.)  This size is also sometimes called 7-ft wide because it is pretty close.
