Our partner is Johnson Trailer Parts, aka JTP. They have the parts for you. While many kits are available now, they are still working on photography and web stuff to get each trailer parts kit shown. They are also working on the many options for you to order. That all takes time. See the Kits Announcement!
While links directly to the kits are in a list below, many are lacking pictures and details. JTP can get you the kit, even if the photos are not yet showing. Please be patient, because they are coming.
Contact Johnson Trailer Parts and let them know what plans you have. They will get you a quote for the exact trailer parts you need. Simply let them know the options you want as shown in the plans you buy from us.
Get your Trailer Parts Kit at JTP!
In general, each trailer parts kit includes the axle(s), coupler, safety chains, wiring, wheels, tires, lights, jack, and fenders – more or less depending on the trailer plan. OR – you specify the pieces you want. JTP is very helpful.
The list below contains links to kits that match our plans. If the link has a problem, call Johnson directly and they will get the right kit for you. They know the right parts for each trailer plan. OR, call them, and they will customize a kit to match the changes or customizing you want.

Johnson Trailer Parts will make parts substitutions in the trailer parts kit, if you want. (For parts they have access to.) Tell them you want more premium parts, or more economic parts, then they will get it for you.

Let them know what part options you need. They can special order your axles, or get a hydraulic pump, lift, jack, and tongue box. Also, they can get all the lights, connectors, junction boxes, and wiring.
Other Places For Trailer Parts (But Not In A Kit)
Some good sources we use (and recommend) for trailer components are these:
- Check Local Sources – Most cities and towns have a local source for trailer parts and accessories, just check your local listings. This is a great way to see the parts prior to purchase, and great for getting good advice.
- Rigid Hitch Inc. – Phone: 800-624-7630. We like Rigid Hitch because they carry quality parts. They do not sell direct, but call them and they will refer you to a dealer nearby.
- eTrailer.com – www.eTrailer.com They have a huge selection, and lots of extra info – like videos, photos, and detailed descriptions – about the components they sell. It is harder to get custom parts, like a custom axle, but they do have a wide selection.
- Redneck Trailers has become Dexter Index – I am not impressed with their new website, but I will let you be the judge for you. The most helpful part is the “Find A Dealer” feature so you can find local dealers for Dexter. Best place to order a Torsion Axle is from a dealer. Give them the full axle description (like we give in the plans). Also a good place to find all the little pieces.
There are many other resources, of course. These are some we know and have good experience with. There are also others who are willing to assist in putting together your own trailer parts kit. Just ask around.
